Java Developer (Web Application)

About the Role
Swift Kuala Lumpur is looking for highly skilled and motivated candidates to join our team. In this role, you will leverage the latest technologies and agile software development practices to contribute to the creation and delivery of Swift MyStandards, a collaborative web platform that empowers banks, market infrastructures, and market practice groups to create, publish, and share message specifications and usage guidelines. This platform plays a critical role in supporting customer onboarding and ISO20022 migration for the global Swift community.
What to expect

1. Engaging in Java Web development and contributing to the end-to-end delivery of the Swift MyStandards platform.
2. Actively participating in the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing plan creation, and development testing.
3. Ensuring the overall quality of the software while solving complex problems.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Quality Assurance engineers, and other developers across different regions.
5. Taking ownership of specific components of the solution, sharing team commitments, and contributing to overall project success.
6. Performing essential software delivery tasks, including builds and installation of releases.

Essential Technical Skills / Knowledge:

1. Java
2. Test automation (Cucumber, Jest)
3. Front End Technology (React Javascript and Typescript, StyleSheets)
4. Oracle/SQL
5. REST
6. Unix/Linux
7. XML Serialization Frameworks
8. English
9. Knowledge of FIN or ISO20022 standard is a plus
