Java Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the backend and frontend of a key system component. This role requires experience with Java, React.js, MySQL, Tomcat, and Apache2.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java 8.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js 16.16.
• Work with MySQL databases.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Tomcat and Apache2 servers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues.

Required Skills:

• Holds at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related field.
• Experience in software development with Java 8, with at 4-7 years of working experience.
• Experience with React.js 16.16.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Experience with Tomcat.
• Experience with Apache2.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. Fluent in English.
• Experience with RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• Local Malaysian is prioritized.
