IT Support Executive

• Maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted operations and providing technical assistance for software, hardware and network related issues.
• Assist in setting up and configuring new devices.
• Provide technical support to company staff by troubleshooting and resolving computer problems and network issues.
• Install, configure and upgrade software, hardware and peripherals to meet business needs.
• Ensure data backups and disaster recovery solutions are operational and secure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls within the organization’s IT framework.
• Ensure network security and performance by monitoring firewalls, routers and switches.
• Liaison with 3rd party IT support for server setup/upgrade as and when required.
• In-house system support.
• Assist technical team on UPS setting and configuration where software setting is required.
• Deal with supplier’s engineer for issues that need to be resolved, which are beyond our capacity.
• Assist in incoming Quality Check when shipments arrive.
• Assist technical team on installation service on complicated software related matters as and when required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned to you.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other equivalent field.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in a related field is required.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
