Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support to join our team, stationed in Malaysia, and responsible for providing support to our Australia & New Zealand IT operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, and providing efficient technical assistance to our users.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide timely IT assistance to users and its subsidiary/affiliates of Australia & New Zealand.
  2. Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders regarding all IT related issues.
  3. Aid in web application troubleshooting/debugging and execute SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation and insertion.
  4. Work with Trescal Group IT for post-merger integration efforts, infrastructure & security matters and budget planning.
  5. Provide support for Windows, Android, iOS and Microsoft Office related products.
  6. Deploy and setup end-user devices and/or servers within Trescal environment and constraints.
  7. Promote responsible usage and care of IT inventory.
  8. Enforce and uphold Trescal Group IT charter and policy.
  9. Undertake and partake in Trescal IT related projects.
  10. Provide remote troubleshooting and diagnosis for Trescal IT assets and remote sites.

Skills and Experience Required

  1. Degree/Diploma Holder in IT-related discipline.
  2. Experience in IT Helpdesk and end-user device technology support operations, including experience in troubleshooting and supporting computer applications and operating systems are an advantage.
  3. Good administrative and planning skills.
  4. Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  5. Certification in Microsoft, Azure, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
  6. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  7. Must be well-versed in English, both written and spoken to effectively interact with colleagues in Australia.
  8. Ability to work in shifts to accommodate the Australia time zone (standard and daylight saving) and flexibility to adjust working hours based on business needs.

Hybrid work environment.

Eligible for at least one (1) working trip to Australia and/or New Zealand per year.
