Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain, administrate, troubleshoot and provide daily support in IT hardware and software (network, email, phone, printer, door access, attendance system, CCTV system, Accounting System, Order System, etc.) to ensure smooth business operations for Headquarters (Kota Kinabalu) and Site.
  • Evaluate and analyze business processes for improvement and develop solutions to implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way for Headquarters (Kota Kinabalu) and Site.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
  • Operating Systems – Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, and macOS (iOS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Good command of English, Chinese, and Malay.
  • Provide a friendly and helpful IT support helpline.
  • Experience in computer programming, computer hardware, and technical support.
  • Able to interact with all levels of people.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and must be proactive in finding or proposing solutions.
  • Well-versed and updated with the latest technologies.
  • Good understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Must know how to use macOS and Windows.
