Started in the early 1960s as Malaysia Trading Agencies, we deal with food flavours and seasonings, coloring, and other food additives. The company has a long-standing partnership with T. Hasegawa Co. Ltd of Japan as the sole agent in Malaysia, Singapore and Bangladesh.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As an IT Support specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technology infrastructure.

• Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for a range of hardware, software and network-related issues
• Assisting our office with the installation, configuration and maintenance of various IT systems and applications
• Performing routine system maintenance, updates and backups to ensure the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure
• Documenting and escalating complex technical issues to the appropriate team or specialist for resolution
• Implementing and enforcing IT policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and compliance
• Providing training and guidance to our office on the use of our IT systems and tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technology-related business challenges

Qualifications

• Some experience in a similar IT support role
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to users at all levels
• Familiarity with common operating systems, software applications, and network protocols
• Familiar with Database Development using MS SQL
