We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Senior Engineer / Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced solar manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing IT systems, particularly MES, and possess strong problem-solving skills to support daily operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MES to ensure smooth operation of system.
• Develop application or report as required by MES operation or any other departments.
• Provide technical support to MES application users.
• Work closely with Equipment, Manufacturing and other departments to provide and co-ordinate feedback to continue improve the business operation, resolve any technical issues and help in defining the MES roadmap to align with business strategy.
• Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations, and associated systems.
• Provide IT support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Ensure system security, backup, and recovery protocols.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Document system configurations, updates, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and security protocols.
• Oversee software and network security as per Corporate IT policies.
• Support the administration of servers, server clusters, email, messaging, and IP phone systems.
• Plan and support network and computing infrastructure, including hardware purchasing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT role within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with equipment automation for communication with MES is a MUST.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred to support operations and liaise with vendors.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with OPC/SECS protocols.
• Familiar with I/O real time control.
• Familiar with VB.Net/C++ or any other programming languages that support the MES.
• Certifications: MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE.
• Systems: Windows, Cisco Systems, UNIX, Linux, AIX.
• Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS.
