IT Security Engineer

• Develop secure network solutions to defend against advanced cyber threats.
• Regularly check existing network systems to ensure they are functioning securely.
• Identify potential security risks by testing systems for vulnerabilities.
• Investigate intrusion incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and respond to security breaches.
• Perform routine audits of systems and software to ensure compliance with established security protocols.
• Install, troubleshoot, and update security software and hardware.
• Educate staff on network and information security procedures.
• Develop and implement organization-wide best practices for IT security.
• Stay current with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.

Job Requirement:

• Min. degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• At least 1 - 2 years of work experience.
• Knowledge in firewall administration, encryption technologies, network protocols, and application security.
• Ability to assess security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address security breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to provide technical advice and train staff on security-related issues.
