Job Profile: IT Project Coordinator

RMA is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator for implementation of FinTech & RegTech driven projects. We're looking for people to join the RMA family, who share our passion for believing in better, and who will help us continue to grow.

Your responsibilities include working closely with our Project Management and delivery team to achieve project goals and objectives. You will perform various project tasks, like tracking timelines, activities, project deliverables, and other project documentation. You are required to have good communication, documentation, interpersonal, and people management skills. You will liaise with Clients, Internal Team, and external partners to ensure the project milestones are achieved on a timely basis and any delays or deviations are properly communicated to stakeholders. In conclusion, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure project governance model/principles are actively documented, communicated, tracked, and completed on time and in line with Stakeholder’s expectations.

Responsibilities

  1. Understand client needs and translate them into actionable project requirements largely for Financial Software Implementation in the area of Payments, Data Management, Treasury, etc. from conception to delivery.
  2. Plan, manage, and execute software development projects from inception to delivery.
  3. Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, resource plans, and status reports.
  4. Assist Project Manager with other tasks assigned by Project Manager and work closely with project team members to achieve the timelines and key milestones.
  5. Monitor project activities, tracking and keeping stakeholders updated on all aspects of a project, schedules, assigned duties, and in a timely manner.
  6. Liaise with clients, other teams, and resources regarding project schedule and materials availability.
  7. Organize project weekly meetings, project steering committee meetings, and plan activities and deadlines ensuring they are met.
  8. Document project activities, meeting summaries/minutes, milestones sign-off, etc., by adhering to standards and templates. Able to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans. All documentation must be properly maintained and archived for each project.
  9. Identify project issues, derive mitigating strategies, and explore options with the team on minimizing impacts and obtain approval from stakeholders on the best feasible option in line with project interests.
  10. Apply change management for identifying project changes with proper tracking of Change Requests.
  11. Ensure quality assurance through adherence to the Project Management Framework.

Experience & Expectations (Freshers are Welcome)

  1. Preferably with 1 or 2 years of experience in projects for Banking/Financial Services sector. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Microsoft Team, Microsoft Project, and related applications.
  3. Proficient in collaboration and solution-oriented project management, focusing on PMO Governance, Project Coordination, and Resource Management.
  4. Collaborative working approach with minimal supervision to manage aggressive project scope, deadlines, and customer-specific requirements for each project.
  5. Exposure to SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile Methodology for project management.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Project Management or any other discipline.
  2. IT project management experience is an added advantage.
