We are seeking a skilled IT Sourcing Specialist to manage the procurement of IT-related goods and services for our bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, specifically within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT products and services tailored to the banking sector.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, focusing on those with experience in financial services.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of IT products and services.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand their IT needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with banking regulations and standards.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance, particularly within the financial services industry.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.
Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and banking standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Sourcing Specialist or similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of IT products and services relevant to banking.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and compare supplier products and services.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
