IT Master Data Management Analyst (Ipoh, Perak)

Data governance and management role based in Head Office, Ipoh, Perak.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage master data changes, such as Material Master, Business Partner, Bank Master etc., in SAP and non-SAP systems within SLA.
2. Ensure master data integrity in key systems and maintain the processes to support data quality.
3. Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
4. Perform relevant performance analysis.
5. Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and in compliance with the company's requirements.
6. Work closely with other business units to ensure alignment of master data rules.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Finance and Accounting/Commerce or equivalent from recognized universities with professional qualifications such as ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA is preferred.
2. At least 2 years of Master Data related experience, with prior experience in AP or AR being advantageous.
3. SAP and Shared Services background will be added advantages.
4. Independent with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders from various countries.
5. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
6. Willing to travel to support subsidiaries in regional countries.
