IT Manufacturing Solution Architect

Responsibilities

1. Understand Semiconductor device manufacturing dicing/saw and probe flows.

2. Be the MES subject matter expert, understand the best practices and standards.

3. Understand the business, requirements, processes for the area of scope and become SME for design, change, and improvements.

4. Proactively provide leads and needs before it is too late to achieve a robust manufacturing process end to end.

5. Identify and define business requirements for each project. Provide effort estimates by engaging with teams and SMEs.

6. Provide technical writing for functional designs and work with the development team.

7. Arrange project requirements, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.

8. Oversee the entire project lifecycle and confirm program operation by conducting tests; communicate with developers and SMEs on each milestone. Update the business stakeholders on each step of the project.

9. Adhere to and maintain the IT approval process for each task.

10. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and updating the team with the best-in-class technologies.

11. Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

12. Provide training to people who will be impacted by each change in a timely manner.

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Understand Unified Modeling Language.

2. Experience with Manufacturing systems, manufacturing and production flow, and MES systems.

3. Experience working with major manufacturing systems such as SPC, Quality, Planning, and ERP.

4. Experience working with automation control systems, FA, and material handling systems.

5. Excellence in SDLC management.

6. Passionate about problem-solving and improvement, analyzing information.

7. Knowledge and experience with writing up requirement and functional design documents.

8. Project Management skills are preferred.

9. Knowledge of using basic SQL codes to help analyze data independently.

10. Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience with SEMI Standards Tool controls.

11. SEMI Standards: E5, E4/E37, E30, E90, E94/E40, E87, E84.

12. Ability to influence people who do not report directly to you.

13. Excellence in negotiations with vendors for pricing, understanding budgeting, and being the IT partner with finance for setting operational and capital expenses for commercial software and licensing.

14. Self-motivated and able to work well with limited direction and supervision.

15. Ability to work well within a team environment.

16. Detail-oriented, organized with a sense of ownership of the area of responsibility.

17. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or any other engineering or related field.
