IT Manager (IT Infrastructure)

IT Manager is responsible for managing IT infrastructure functions including cybersecurity, IT systems administration and procurement. Ultimately, you will be developing and implementing IT strategies and solutions in addressing organization’s operational requirements, while ensuring all functions are in compliance with regulatory and company standards, as well as aligned with departmental goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage IT operations.
• Monitor progress according to the schedule and budget.
• Review existing IT systems periodically to identify areas of improvement.
• Establish and review IT policies and procedures, including risks and computer security.
• Manage company-wide IT systems and infrastructure.
• Manage the IT team and vendors to provide quality support for all business units.
• Oversee the implementation of projects, while tracking and controlling all project phases and activities.
• Ensure IT systems operate according to internal standards, in compliance with the company's policies.
• Compare project status and progress to the actual plan, as resources perform the scheduled work.
• Adjust schedules or any requisites in order to keep projects on track.
• Organize and lead biweekly meetings with the team to discuss the overall project and resource status.
• Supervise and coach the IT infrastructure team in order to retain and perpetuate growth.
• Provide guidance and professional support to the team in achieving both personal and departmental objectives.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on your competencies and seniority as assigned by your immediate superior/management.

Requirements

• Hold a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Minimum 12 years of working experience in IT industry.
• Proven experience as Manager specializing in IT infrastructure development or equivalent.
• Experience in managing IT projects across various technologies.
• Strong IT skills with in-depth knowledge of hardware, software, cybersecurity and other relevant IT fields.
• Sensitive to IT’s trends and innovations and able to apply new knowledge, understanding or skill to practical use on the job.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and issues arising from the team.
