IT Manager

To develop, implement and maintain IT processes for service request fulfilment and problem management, develop, analyse, and report on metrics from the IT service management system.

To develop security measures to protect computer networks from unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software.

To develop, evaluate, propose, and execute project plans for enhancement or development of existing or new business systems.

To motivate, develop associates, and formulate annual goals for team members and the department.

To develop, justify, and manage IT budgets and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within time and budget constraints.

To report to the company management team on the IT program and project status as needed.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

• Proven track record of IT department budget, resources, operation, and workflow planning and management.
• Proven track record related to IT project delivery, business system enhancement, and development.
• Proven track record in evaluation and selection of products, tools, services, and infrastructure components in line with the organization’s business needs and architectural principles.
• Experience in infrastructure and data centre projects, specifically focused on servers, storage, telecom, networking, and associated technologies is a nice to have.
• Able to work under deadlines to meet strict project objectives and goals.
• Degree or Master of Information Technology related certificate with a minimum of 5 years managing an IT department with more than 5 IT staff, or more than 10 years’ experience managing an IT department with more than 5 staff.
• Good understanding of core business processes for retail, IoT, and Hospitality is an asset.
• Professional Certifications such as UTIL, Prince2, PMP, PMI-PBA, RCDD, CBAP, or CCBA is preferred.
