IT Manager

ICT documentation managers are in charge of managing the documentation development process in accordance with legal requirements, standards, organisational policies and goals. They schedule, control and direct the resources, people, funding and facilities of the documentation department (including establishing budgets and timelines, risk analysis and quality management). They also develop documentation standards, structuring methods and media concepts to effectively communicate product concepts and usage.

Responsibilities:

1. To attend the Group’s meeting on IT related matters.
2. To provide solutions to improve IT policies, structure and plan.
3. To identify, recommend and implement improvement plans regarding IT related matters.
4. To handle the annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department.
5. To monitor network utilization and performance, implementing procedures for network optimization, reliability and availability.
6. To identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
7. To prepare IT infrastructure and improvement reports for Management use.
8. To communicate IT related matters with all levels of employees effectively.
9. Supervisory role to manage resource efforts in meeting KPIs set.
10. Analyse business processes and requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
11. Recommend appropriate technologies for IT infrastructure and systems that effectively drive and serve the company's needs.
12. Ensure that the IT department is providing prompt IT support to end users.
13. Monitor IT performance regularly to avoid unplanned outages and downtimes.
14. Develop and retain strong functional capabilities and skills within IT through employee development such as conducting relevant training.
15. Coordinate with the IT team to ensure that technology, infrastructure and operational requirements are met.
16. Perform hands-on setup and administration of servers, networks, and appliances.
17. To undertake any other tasks, assignments, or projects as assigned by the Manager from time to time.
18. To monitor and review IT execution daily work routine.
19. Liaise with 3rd party service providers for any services to improve operational efficiency.

Preferred: Someone with experience in the manufacturing industry.
