IT Internship

SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role at the one-stop service will require you to:

• Act as the first point of contact for basic IT support, assisting employees with hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows OS, PCs, and laptops.
• Support wired and wireless network performance and security.
• Help maintain IT systems, including CCTV, door access, and VOIP systems.
• Assist in setting up and troubleshooting printers and peripherals.
• Participate in IT asset management and inventory tracking.
• Support IT team members on projects and initiatives.
• Provide basic user guidance and training on IT tools.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Log and track support requests using the ticketing system.
• Stay updated on IT trends and best practices.
• Other IT-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree from IT field
• Preferable 6 months of internship period
• No prior experience required, though basic exposure to IT support, hardware setup, or network troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with using Windows OS and common IT tools is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of hardware, software, and network concepts.
• Familiarity with installing and configuring operating systems and applications.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for IT devices such as PCs, printers, and networks.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist end-users effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task execution.
• Other Competencies:
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with new IT tools and trends.
