The incumbent will work closely with the Biocon Biologics IT team under the supervision of the IT functional head, leading key technology and digital projects and ensuring successful rollouts.
More specifically he/she will lead the following responsibilities:
Serves as key member of the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) operation team.
MES User Management and first level support not limited to end user access and end devices connection to MES application and server
Client configuration with tablet, scanner, printers and weighing balance not limited to qualification, network readiness and initial setup
MES Backup/Restoration activity
MES monitoring and incident ticketing
Maintain qualified computer system infrastructure and user technical support with the help of IT helpdesk
Work closely within IT function and inter departments to support MES project requirements.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure design, configuration, and procedures
Provide support for any technical / qualification activities, during system installation, technical support, troubleshooting, or upgrade activities by vendor or IT helpdesk team.
Execute test scripts for IFQ, and IQ as per the approved protocol/qualification plan.
Vendor/OEM engagement for Nutanix, Oracle DB – preventive maintenance, hardware or DB issue/support
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience (2+ years) as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) is required
Knowledge of CSV deliverables related to IT
Experience with server and storage systems (Windows Server, Linux, SAN/NAS) is a big plus.
Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is a good to have.
