IT Executive

It is the role of the IT Executive to support the manager in achieving the school's objectives and ensure relevant regulatory compliance in addition to proper operation of all information technology infrastructure. This includes all computer hardware, software, networks, operating systems and data, and telecommunications.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Service Management

• Provide user level technical support for end users in the area of computers, printers, smart board, projector, etc.
• Assist with user management in the area of adding and deleting users from AD, updating status of new join & resigned staff email ID, etc.
• Monitor and conduct regular maintenance of school IT equipment.

Equipment Inventory, Network, Server and Security Management

• Assist with network and security management.
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
• Patch management, spyware removal and testing, virus checking, and ensure backup of data files.

System Updates, Data Storage, and System Development

• Assist with end user system updates and monitoring.
• Assist with data storage architecture.
• Assist with system development.

General

• Other ad-hoc tasks as necessary to support the manager in overall information technology management.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or other related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Good diagnostic and problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
