We are seeking a results-oriented IT administrator to manage our company's computer infrastructure and supervise our IT department. You will be upgrading and installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, and maintaining our networks and servers.
Job Specifications:
Provide first-level IT support to internal users.
Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of information technology systems and processes.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for ERP system implementation, integration, and support.
Manage IT assets, including movement and updates to the IT assets database.
Monitor and maintain networks and servers.
Upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
Create user accounts and perform access control.
Conduct diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
Document processes, and back up and archive data.
Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
Design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
Supervise and mentor IT department employees, providing IT support as needed.
Stay up-to-date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
Handle any ad hoc assignments from management as required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Monitor the timely application of software patches to enhance security and system performance.
Ensure data integrity by measuring the success rate of regular data backups.
Assess the network performance by monitoring latency to maintain optimal connectivity.
Measure the speed at which security vulnerabilities are identified and addressed.
Ensure an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets to facilitate effective management.
Track and optimize IT-related costs, including hardware, software, and maintenance expenses.
