IT Executive

The IT Executive will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and ERP systems. He / She will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, supporting IT projects, and ensuring the security and stability of the company’s network and systems.

Scope of responsibilities:

1. Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, including ERP systems, network infrastructure, computer hardware, software, barcode printers, and internet services.
2. Administer servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of server operating systems, with expertise in Microsoft Windows Server systems and network infrastructure.
3. Monitor server and storage performance, ensuring the availability and stability of servers and the internet network.
4. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues, including network security firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
5. Administer NAS and manage server data and file backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
6. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
7. Troubleshoot Windows system, peripheral, and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
8. Manage Microsoft 365, including user management and end-user support for Outlook email clients.
9. Monitor and implement security measures to protect the network from cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
10. Provide support for production barcode printers and scanners, including in-house label design and printing.
11. Support Cloud ERP systems and define database query reports for end users.
12. Maintain and support the CCTV system and telephone systems.
13. Participate in IT project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
14. Perform related duties as required.

Qualification:

1. Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience with ERP system support in a manufacturing environment.
3. Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
