IT Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in the IT/Computer industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and networks to ensure smooth operations within the organization.

Job Description:

• Manage firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network security.
• Internet and Firewall services, secure access to the Internet; LAN wired and Wi-Fi network services, grant access and make sure network resources such as files are available.
• Attend to all system breakdown, troubleshoot with urgency to reduce downtime.
• Provide and assist PC users to look out for PC abuse or misuse.
• Data administration for Data Server, networking mapping to network terminal.
• Generating and maintaining new user accounts for network log-in and email usage.
• Administration for email, manipulation for internal or external receiving and forwarding mail.
• Data Backup and Restore for Data Server, Mail Server.
• Monitoring Printer Consumable and approval for each purchasing of Computer parts & accessories.
• Maintain Master List for software, hardware, user account and annual audit check.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful integration of MES systems.
• Planned, maintain and carry out scheduled housekeeping of all computer user hard disk utilization.
• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in IT (Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, and Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• Preferable Mandarin-speaking candidates as the role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience in networking is an advantage.
