Investment Migration Head APAC - Kuala Lumpur

As our client continues to grow across the APAC region, they now have a newly created role for an APAC Head of Investment Migration to help spearhead this next phase of the firm's expansion. The role will involve managing and building their existing team of analysts in Kuala Lumpur, as well as handling the complex case workflow for the regional Investment Migration businesses.

In addition to handling direct line management and training of juniors, this role will also involve oversight of case managers and editors in Hong Kong and Singapore. The role will report into the head of the Asia business, based in Hong Kong.

Your role

• Oversee the Malaysia Investment Migration team, currently comprising six members.
• Expand and develop the team by making additional hires to manage increasing workflows.
• Handle regional Investment Migration case management, including case administration, workflow delivery, editorial processes, and quality assurance.
• Manage APAC client communications and undertake periodic international travel to clients in the Americas and Europe.
• Collaborate with the APAC CI management team on client development, capacity building, and other regional initiatives.
• Work closely with the global leadership to implement ongoing product development and ensure quality alignment.

Your background:

• Extensive experience in corporate intelligence, due diligence, and investigations, with a track record of leading teams in these areas.
• Strong background in people management.
• Solid experience in research administrative management.
• Fluency in English to a high standard.
• Proficiency in an Asian language preferred.
• A commitment to hands-on delivery while mentoring and growing a team.
