Provide expertise towards the achievement of Group loan portfolio/statistics/measures as set by BoD; and to ensure that the BoD's expectations are met.
Work closely with SVP – Funding Services and VP – Private Debt & Grants on prospective new deals by networking, advertising or any other means.
Develop rapport with potential clients by building on relationships for future potential deals.
Funding:
Execute ‘deals team’ activities in analysing, screening and where appropriate executing funding opportunities.
Assess business plans and potential funding opportunities.
Prepare well-structured and thoroughly detailed analysis of the funding hypothesis, including assumptions, scenario testing as well as potential exit strategy.
Play an active role throughout the transaction and manage negotiations on funding terms with potential funding opportunities.
Portfolio Management and Monitoring:
Work towards ensuring that the portfolios are well run, managed and operationally sound.
Undertake review of progress against plan and dealing with problems if they arise.
Manage tasks to ensure that strategic, operation decisions and directions of these portfolio companies are aligned with the funding objectives as well as complying with relevant domestic regulations.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, MBA or a related field.
Strong experience in the credit or banking industry.
Experience Managing BoD (Board of Director) and Senior Management.
Business and technical savvy to provide sound advice.
Valuate new business proposals, alert of new business potential, strong networking.
