Investment Consultant, Private Wealth

Job Responsibility:

• Implement and drive Investment “Business Strategies”, focusing on Private Wealth clients to achieve pre-set targets for investment fee based income, asset under management (AUM), cross sell ratio and increase number of new investment clients.
• Joint sales call with CAs and provide investment advisory support i.e. asset allocation and portfolio rebalance to clients based on clients’ needs and risk profiles.
• Be the point of reference for CAs on Investment products, fund performance, campaigns and enforcer for sales process and governance.
• Conduct research , analysis and write up on funds, equities and market updates.
• Execute action plans to address any gaps and undertake corrective measures to achieve Investment targets.
• Work closely with Head, Private Wealth for joint-assessment of CAs’ competencies and skills. Implement training programs and coaching new and existing CAs.

Job Requirement:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• CFA or ACCA qualification (or any similar qualification) along with CMSA Module 12 and 19a license will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking with solid knowledge investment research, analysis, advisory or any related investment experience e.g. Finance & Economics, Fixed Income, Equities, Investment Structured Products, Forex and Unit Trust.
• Proficient in utilising Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
