Investment Associate

As we expand our presence in the international markets, we are looking for a driven Investment Associate. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in private equity, focusing on investments industry.

Role:

The Investment Associate will support key functions in investment analysis, fund administration, and investor relations. This full-time role provides a platform for professionals looking to develop in the private equity space, with opportunities to be involved in evaluating and managing investments in dynamic sectors.

What will you do:

Investment Analysis and Evaluation:

1. Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities including financial statement analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
2. Assess financial viability and strategic fit to clients' investments based on our firm's criteria and mandates.
3. Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate investment returns and risks.
4. Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management.
5. Track and monitor the performance of current investments, analyzing key financial metrics and industry trends.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to support investment decisions.

Fund Administration and Operations:

1. Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, and legal counsel on fund administration activities.
2. Manage and ensure timely execution of fund transactions such as capital calls and redemptions.
3. Maintain and manage documentation including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPA), Subscription Agreements, and Information Memorandums relevant to local operations.
4. Prepare and distribute financial reports to investors, maintaining transparency and accuracy.
5. Work with internal teams and external auditors during fund audits and compliance checks.

Investor Relations and Fundraising:

1. Build and maintain relationships with investors through regular communication and engagement initiatives.
2. Assist in organizing investor meetings, events, and preparing investor presentations.
3. Provide timely updates to investors on fund performance, market insights, and investment activities.
4. Participate in fundraising efforts, including roadshows and investor conferences to grow the firm's investor base.
5. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive investor information.

Who are we looking for:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or financial services (fresh graduates with strong passion for investments are encouraged to apply).
3. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for financial modeling.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in presenting to investors.
6. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or CPA are a plus.
