Our client "GLOBAL KIARA SDN BHD" is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their company!
What you'll be doing?
Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommend an investment decision.
Develop an investment policy aligned to the company strategy and an investment criteria for evaluating prospective projects.
Create financial models that enhance return on investment of projects and financial planning.
Prepare business and financial documents for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments - information memoranda and prospectus.
Analyze company investments and financial projections and advise the company on how to best position its investments.
Provide updates on financial market activities in order to position the company effectively in the local and global market.
Liaise with fund managers, company managers, stock market traders, stockbrokers, and regulators to expand funding access while improving market perception.
Conduct market research on the industry and gather market intelligence to enhance management of funds.
Conduct full set accounts (or liaise with accountant) to ensure certain investment companies have financial and accounting filings completed accordingly.
Maintain up-to-date information on the latest economic trends in the country and updates in the financial markets.
Ensure that all investment compliance regulations are met.
Any other duties as may be assigned by your Head of Department (HOD).
Who are they looking for?
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field, or relevant professional certifications (CFA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
At least 1-3 years of experience in the field of Finance and Management.
Experience in investment banking, private equity, and venture capital would be an added advantage.
Should possess business planning skills including creating business proposals, financial modeling, and budgeting.
Should have a proven ability to achieve and surpass targets.
Must demonstrate skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation.
Able to work independently.
Possesses high ethics and values with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
