Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive monthly inventory projections on a global scale for raw materials, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Line and Program Office as crucial stakeholders, aligning efforts to achieve inventory goals and enhancing internal controls for inventory optimization.
  • Leverage advanced data visualization and analytical tools such as Spotfire, Incorta, and Power BI to meticulously process and analyze complex inventory data.
  • Provide detailed analysis and comprehensive inventory-related reports to key business partners, including Product Line, Program Office and Operations Finance, ensuring transparent communication of critical insights.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews and take proactive measures based on inventory profiling and aging criteria, ensuring the maintenance of an optimized inventory with minimized risk.
  • Conduct a meticulous review and optimization of safety stock settings for raw materials, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining an effective balance between inventory levels and supply risk mitigation strategies.
  • Effectively manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and Contract Material (CM) excess claims on a quarterly basis, implementing strategic disposition methods to minimize losses and maximize recovery.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Typically 8-10 years of experience in strategic procurement/inventory/supply chain management.
  • Experience and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools such as Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business sense with a clear understanding of supply chain and planning fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytic skills and strong ability to retain and relay large amounts of information.
  • Proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams and deliver results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership ability and positive, proactive approach to working in a dynamic, progressive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented and excellent problem-solving methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
