Inventory Planning & Optimisation Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement inventory planning and optimization strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Analyze historical sales data and demand patterns to anticipate future inventory needs.
• Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, from procurement to distribution, ensuring efficient and cost-effective inventory levels.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to gather information for accurate demand forecasting.
• Train and develop the inventory planning team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to execute strategies effectively.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain through data-driven insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, data statistics, business or related field.
• Proven experience in inventory planning and analysis (> 5 years experience)
• Data analysis and forecasting, able to analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategies for improving inventory control procedures.
• Ability to analyze data and interpret trends to management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good in mathematics and sensible with data.
