Inventory Control Specialist

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily warehouse operations & activities to ensure effectiveness & efficiency of warehouse operations.
2. Fully responsible for the preparation & planning of inbound and outbound activities.
3. Active communication with Technicians on materials supply arrangement & planning.
4. Ensure timely issuing and completeness of pick lists to the Technical department according to the production plan.
5. Support in inventory management including inventory accuracy in physical.
6. Lead in stock checks and cycle counts.
7. Liaise and keep track of missed schedule deliveries and parts shortages from suppliers.
8. Ensure minimum and maximum stock level practices in the warehouse.
9. Prepare monthly analysis and summary of inventory movements.
10. Produce monthly reports related to all warehouse operations activities, issues, and solutions.
11. Ensure 'First In First Out' practice in the warehouse.
12. Ensure subordinates work according to the work instructions and process flows.
13. Support the head of department on department improvement plans with recommendations and proposals.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/Supply Chain/Warehouse Management or any equivalent qualification.
2. Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, optionally Mandarin.
3. Able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
4. At least 2 years of working experience in Warehouse/Store/Logistics.
5. Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, excelling at interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges.
8. Good problem-solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions.
9. Critical observer-thinker, bringing fresh perspectives and offering intuitive solutions and ideas.
10. Demonstrated leadership skills in driving teamwork excellence and conflict resolution.
11. Business-minded where applicable with entrepreneurship skills to ensure business success.
12. Have strong knowledge of applicable system automation and business solution hardware.
