Role Summary:

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for inventory-related functions, including receiving POs, cycle counts, pulling parts for jobs, shipping and receiving of goods, assigning, and editing stock locations, as well as all data entry associated with these functions. The Inventory Control Clerk will work with the Quality team to confirm material certifications are correct prior to releasing materials and/or components to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all incoming goods are received on the same day, checked for correctness and damage, and properly documented.
2. Process all receipts the same day and update all transactions in the system.
3. Select and label goods correctly, pack as per Flowserve requirements, and dispatch to meet customer expectations.
4. Pick and pack parts as required and complete the transaction in the appropriate system.
5. Seal parts to be picked and place in a tub bin for assembly.
6. Lodge all parts/seals through the computer system to maintain accurate stock status.
7. Book couriers and freight companies for collection and dispatch of goods.
8. Communicate on order status and assist in tracking shipments until delivery.
9. Monitor PO due dates and expedite delivery statuses.
10. Maintain and replenish stocks for consumables and assist with stock take.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

1. Previous warehouse experience including dispatch and receipt of goods.
2. Forklift operation experience is preferred.
3. Diploma holder with 4-5 years relevant experience.
