Position Summary:

This position is responsible for identifying trends, forecasting demand, optimizing stock levels, reducing inefficiencies, monitoring inventory turnover rates, and recommending strategies for optimizing inventory levels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or relevant subject.
  • Possess at least 3 – 4 years of working experience in the supply chain industry and literacy in MRP.
  • Character: Self-initiative, good manner, good attitude, self-organized, able to work in a team environment. Analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Communication: Good interaction with people, able to communicate in English and Malay fluently. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, optimize stock levels, reduce inefficiencies, monitor inventory turnover rates, and recommend strategies for optimizing inventory levels.
  • Measure inventory accuracy, provide data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies’ analysis, and propose action plans to reduce inventory discrepancies. Gather and assess competitive Supply Chain information as a basis for comparison to Supply Chain Strategies that are developed.
  • Define and execute corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy by actively participating in and supporting the action plans to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Generate detailed inventory reports to provide insights to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and improve inventory processes and controls.
  • Provide recommendations on inventory policies, procedures, and systems. Establish and implement training programs for the Supply Chain team.
  • Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage the Inventory Cycle Counting and analyze inventory gaps.
  • Participate actively in the preparation and execution of the internal periodic inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues and interface with IT to develop information systems solutions to support Supply Chain strategies.
  • Perform tasks assigned by leader/supervisor/manager within estimated cycle time.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement programs.
  • Additional duties and/or any other tasks as assigned by the Superior Management.
