Job description

The primary role of interns is to provide administrative and IT support for Facilities Management (FM) Operations.
Interns will explore new skills and exciting tasks such as the company’s technology, time management, data analysis, and participate in basic system enhancement, process improvements, and data analytics for the facilities management team. This role will be based in Damansara office.

Functional (job responsibilities):

  1. Develop, enhance and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  2. Provide support to staff members in FM as needed especially on the day-to-day administrative tasks/activities.
  3. Provide support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  4. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  5. Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  6. Present weekly progress reports pertaining to the areas assigned.
  7. Identify new process improvement opportunities – Improve administration efficiency.
  8. Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, organization of files, documents etc. and other coordination duties.
  9. Organize and perform ad-hoc job-related duties when assigned.
  10. Maintain reports in Excel/internal tools.

Jobholder Requirements

Education/Qualification
Malaysian citizen.
Diploma / Degree level – Preferably in IT/ Technology.
Basic SharePoint knowledge or other DevOps tools would be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & Google Suite. Knowledge of overall Microsoft Office/Google Docs and Sheets.

Able to collaborate with another section/ department.
Diligent, organized and meticulous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
