A leading national law firm is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to support the successful delivery of its multi-channel internal communications strategy. The role is pivotal in ensuring all employees align with the firm’s overarching strategy and vision while fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and innovation.

The Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Senior Communications Manager to develop & implement the internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm’s corporate objectives.
  2. Management of core communication channels, including the intranet and office screens, and innovate engagement opportunities.
  3. Produce and oversee content for internal communications, such as the monthly newsletter, Leadership Bulletins, and alumni newsletter.
  4. Manage logistics and provide counsel for strategic internal events like the AGM, annual Strategy Briefing, and alumni networking events.
  5. Create and edit high-quality communications content, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone across all internal channels.
  6. Work with the People team to support employer branding, talent initiatives, and internal campaigns.
  7. Establish and manage metrics to assess communication effectiveness, report on impact, and recommend improvements to optimize engagement and ROI.
  8. Align internal communications with external efforts, promoting two-way engagement and user-generated content where relevant.

The Candidate:

  1. Experience in a management role dedicated to internal communications.
  2. Exceptional writing abilities and attention to detail in proofreading/editing content.
  3. Excellent at engaging with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Proven ability to craft and execute internal communications campaigns and events.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft communication tools and digital social platforms.
