Internal Audit

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

1. Conduct Audits: Perform financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
2. Assess Internal Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
3. Identify Risks: Identify potential areas of risk within the organization and develop recommendations to mitigate those risks.
4. Compliance Checks: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
5. Analyze Data: Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
6. Prepare Reports: Document audit findings, prepare audit reports, and present recommendations to management and the audit committee.
7. Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure they are effectively addressed.
8. Collaborate: Work with various departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of operations and to provide advice on improving processes.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing to enhance audit methodologies and procedures.
10. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to other staff members on audit-related matters.
11. Willing to travel for outstation assignments.
