1. Be a part of the vital role in the product development process and product requirements discussion to develop new products and improve existing products.
2. Work closely with internal teams and external parties (i.e., JAKIM, MoH, etc.) for quality management systems (i.e., HALAL, MeSTI, GMP).
3. Assist in food technology roles in product testing, sensory evaluation, and reporting.
4. Assist in quality control roles in on-site inspection of materials, in-process control, and end product discharge.
5. Liaise with quality control in developing control measures and inline quality test methods.
6. Assist in supplier selection, evaluation, and supplier audits.
7. Assist in maintaining proper documentation and records.
8. Assist in in-house training in food safety and quality management systems.
9. Conduct pest control activities and provide trend internal analysis reports (in-premise & outside premise).
10. Ensure personal hygiene and cleaning procedures are met and done correctly.
11. Assist in maintaining proper documentation of records for food safety and quality programs.
12. Assist in maintaining proper HALAL documentation and update the requirements from time to time if necessary.
