Intern, Finance Record to Report (March 2025) (Kuala Lumpur)

Job Description

We are excited to announce an internship opportunity within our Finance department, starting in March 2025. This role is designed for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of financial business control.

Key areas of exposure during your internship with us include:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

1. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
2. Support the finance team in analyzing financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

1. Help prepare budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial trends.
2. Assist in monitoring budget compliance and analyzing variances.

Cost Control & Optimization:

1. Participate in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
2. Support the analysis of cost structures and financial metrics.

Project Support:

1. Contribute to finance-related projects, supporting various stages from planning to implementation.
2. Assist in tracking project budgets and ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Documentation & Reporting:

1. Aid in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate financial performance and project outcomes.
2. Support the finance team in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.

Criteria for the ideal intern:

1. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. CGPA of 3.0 and above.
3. Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial principles.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is a plus.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
