INTERIOR DESIGNER

Join the dynamic team at GENESIS HOME DECO SDN BHD as an Interior Designer. In this full-time role based in Kuching, Sarawak, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior designs that cater to the needs of our diverse clients. As an Interior Designer, you will play a strategic role in shaping the aesthetic and practical aspects of residential and commercial spaces.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts and plans, incorporating elements of space planning, colour palettes, furniture selection, and material choices
• Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas
• Coordinate with contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure seamless project implementation
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments to designs as needed to meet client satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovative design solutions

What we're looking for

• Knowledge in Interior Design or a related field
• Fresh graduates is also welcome to apply
• Minimum 1 years of experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the residential or commercial sector
• Strong technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, 3D modelling, and visual presentation tools
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills to effectively present design concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces
