About the role

JYONG CONCEPT SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic and functional design of a wide range of projects, from commercial spaces to residential homes. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging design challenges while contributing to the company's continued success.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
• Conceptualising and developing innovative interior design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality and practicality
• Preparing detailed design plans, including floor plans, 3D renderings, and material specifications
• Sourcing and selecting appropriate furniture, fixtures, and finishes that align with the design vision
• Overseeing the implementation of design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the design and construction process
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry

What we're looking for

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional interior design role
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Exceptional communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passionate about creating innovative and functional interior design solutions
