Interior Designer

Join ZBOM SDN BHD as an Interior Designer and be a key part of our dynamic team. This full-time role in Tanjung Tokong Penang will see you creating captivating interior designs that bring our clients' visions to life. With a focus on the Interior Design industry, you'll leverage your exceptional design skills to deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

1. Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
2. Develop creative interior design concepts and proposals
3. Prepare detailed design plans, technical drawings and specifications
4. Source and select appropriate materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment
5. Oversee the implementation of interior design projects from start to finish
6. Ensure all design work meets relevant building codes and regulations
7. Provide professional advice and guidance to clients throughout the design process

What we're looking for

1. Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an interior design role
3. Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
4. Excellent problem-solving, project management and time management skills
5. Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors and the wider design team
6. Keen eye for detail and a flair for creating visually stunning designs
7. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest interior design trends, materials and industry standards
8. Possess own transport
