About the Job

• Lead market research efforts to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes within Malaysia’s interior design industry.
• Develop and execute high-level business strategies to strengthen the firm’s market position and drive revenue growth.
• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, securing high-value projects across the F&B, retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to foster business expansion.
• Oversee and mentor the business development team, setting performance targets and ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with design and project teams to craft compelling proposals and innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
• Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic trends to adapt strategies proactively.
• Analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies to maximize profitability.
• Represent the firm at industry events, networking functions, and business forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

About the Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in business development, with a proven track record in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
• Strong network and established connections in the F&B, retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to exceed sales and revenue targets.
• Proficiency in market analysis, sales forecasting, and business planning.

About the Manager/Team
