About the role
We are seeking an experienced Installation & Support Technician to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert installation and troubleshooting support for our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in equipment and software installation.
2. Operating and troubleshooting camera and PLC systems on-site.
3. Supporting image capturing processes.
4. Running or modifying simple software programs for image processing tasks.
5. Maintaining accurate records of all work completed.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma/ Degree in engineering, IT or related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
3. Ability to operate Keyence cameras, including configuration such as setting IP addresses.
4. Familiarity with PLC operation, particularly Mitsubishi or Keyence PLCs. Experience with Siemens PLCs will be an added advantage.
5. Ability to capture images using Basler or Daheng Imaging cameras through their respective manufacturer's software.
6. Proficiency in Python programming, specifically for writing programs to display images using OpenCV.
7. Willing to travel domestically and internationally (China).
8. Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. Japanese is an added advantage.
9. Required attitude(s): Dedicated, initiative, independent, flexible, positive & cheerful.
