Job Responsibilities

1. Compile and ensure thorough understanding of project AFC drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards.
2. Prepare and issue daily quality inspection & surveillance report to QAQC Engineer.
3. Inspect, document, and verify the project is constructed in conformance with contract plans and specifications.
4. Maintain accurate inspector daily records of the work (e.g., personnel, equipment, materials, quantities, site conditions, specialty trades, etc.).
5. Monitor all activities and materials of construction in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
6. Prepare requests for inspections (RFI) with all necessary attachments.
7. Coordinate with the construction engineers and client inspectors for clearing designated points of inspections (Hold and Witness Points).
8. Prepare test schedules, frequency of tests, and sampling related to approved Quality control program.
9. Witness and monitor Quality field inspections such as: Rebar inspection, formwork inspection, Field Density Test, concrete or grout pouring, concrete cube test, soil testing & compaction, etc.
10. Gather up-to-date information on Contractor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for quality such as RFI cancelled, RFI accepted, RFI rejected, NCR, rejection rates, etc.
11. Conduct inspections on all materials received at site and ensure materials to be used conform to contract plans and specifications.
