Inspection Engineer

Job Overview:

An AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) engineer works on functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures in collaboration with an engineering team and executive leadership. The contribution of an AOI engineer is using emerging technologies to solve problems in creative ways.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design and build of tools and equipment.
2. Complete or assist in the completion of design studies.
3. Manage project schedules and budget to meet project requirements.
4. Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
5. Function as a technical specialist or in a lead role.
6. Drive product roadmap and initiatives, and participate in technical design.
7. Resolve systemic issues providing short, medium, and long-term solutions.
8. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of systems.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in information systems, engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Collaborate with other team members using leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Proficient in debugging.

Comfortable with CAD software.
