Job description

The role of the Inside Sales Advisor is to educate, inspire and skillfully guide Tesla’s potential customers through the vehicle purchase and configuration process. Inside Sales Advisors have the incredible opportunity to advise potential Tesla customers, while honing their abilities in lead qualification.

We expect members of this team to become experts in our products and the direct-from-manufacturer sales model that has made Tesla an innovator in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the Tesla brand and mission, exceptional interpersonal communication skills, unshakeable moral fortitude, and a strong awareness of professional behaviour when supporting customers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with current and prospective customers via chat, email and phone to nurture and prepare them for a vehicle purchase
  • Receive and respond to inbound leads to assess the prospect's needs, qualify the opportunity, and schedule the test drive experience
  • Conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior customer experience that represents the Tesla brand values
  • Being responsible for individual pipelines, conducting follow ups as necessary
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline achieving both personal and group monthly metrics in conjunction with the field Sales teams
  • Coordinate with multiple Tesla stores and locations to manage schedules and resources
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources
  • Work with the technical departments to understand current vehicle and production talking points
  • Utilize, update and maintain the integrity of information in Tesla's CRM system
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to advance the mission, business model, and Tesla brand
  • Provide feedback and recommendations based on direct experiences with current and potential customers

Requirements

  • Strong team-player.
  • Excellent Communication and relationship management skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities.
  • Attention to quality and detail.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Fluency in English and other local language.
