Injection Moulding Technician

Job Responsibility

1. Set up and prepare injection moulding machines and equipment for production.
2. Perform mould changes, including installation/removal of mould, inserts, and components.
3. Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure quality and proper moulding conditions.
4. Inspect and troubleshoot machines, resolving issues like malfunctions, defects, and material inconsistencies.
5. Collaborate to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance production efficiency.
6. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment.
7. Assist in process improvements, optimizing machine settings, materials, and mould designs.
8. Follow safety guidelines and company policies during all operations.
9. Maintain good 5S practices on the production floor.

Job Requirements

1. 2 years and above of experience in plastic injection moulding.
2. Familiarity with injection moulding machines and plastic materials.
3. Good knowledge in moulding process, production control and machine maintenance.
4. Certificates / Vocational / Diploma in relevant field (considered an added advantage).
