We are looking for an Industrial Services Engineer responsible for ensuring competent industrial services management and operation, and to ensure optimal cost, highly efficient, quality, and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation, i.e. steam, refrigeration, water, effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, and compressed air. Define, implement, and assure maintenance strategy and activities in accordance with Nestlé Engineering Policies. Coach and develop key staff and build-up potential successors.
A day in the life of...
- Ensures that personnel managing, operating, and maintaining industrial services plant and infrastructure are competent to do so.
- Ensures that competency assessment and competency building plans are in place, routinely reviewed, and executed for the Industrial Services team.
- Supports operation of industrial services to ensure high efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Assists in the budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services. Identifies and drives energy and water saving opportunities.
- Manages quality, environmental, and internal and external compliance requirements for industrial services through management and monitoring processes and routines.
- Ensures process and personnel safety with regard to industrial services plant and equipment, from design and installation through to routine and periodic safety inspections and audits.
- Defines a high standard of 5S and safety culture. Uses Behavioral Based Safety philosophy and methods.
What Will Make You Successful
- Experience in at least one Industrial Services engineering discipline, preferably in a food-related manufacturing environment with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Experience operating or supervising others who operate fired pressure systems (boilers) or other large combustion systems.
- Experience in leading a team of industrial services technicians.
- A person who has a Grade 2 Steam Engineer License issued by DOSH.
