Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
Assisting the CER Specialists on industrial related matters including but not limited to counselling & disciplinary matters, termination, grievances, investigations, and employment legislation. In addition, the role is also accountable to roll out companywide compliance campaigns and projects which is related to CER portfolio.
What are you accountable for?
- Assist in comprehensive planning for company-wide disciplinary matters - including preparation for investigation, fact-finding interviews, transcribing and domestic inquiries, in a proper and timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure company-wide compliance by educating managers on a range of employment laws topics to ensure legal compliance.
- Assist the team members in reviewing policies and processes.
- Assist in reviewing the Code of Conduct in ensuring that it is in line with Company’s initiatives and aspiration.
- Co-manage the Annual Mandatory eLearn Assessment & Acknowledgement exercise and ensure compliance of the Code by ALL employees & Third Party Contractors (TPC).
- Assist in creating and initiating awareness sessions / organize awareness programs.
- Assist in managing matters with government authorities i.e. labour office, industrial relations department, external counsels, government authorities, etc.
- Assist in rolling out company-wide compliance initiatives on a quarterly basis.
What do you need for the role?
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources and Labour Law or LLB.
- Total Relevant Experience 1 to 3 years in Industrial Relations matters.
- Familiar with Industrial Relations, Employment Acts, Labour Laws and Counselling & Coaching.
