Administration

1. Role as a Boilerman Grade 1
2. Maintain daily up to date records for management evaluation and information purposes by collecting or logging data for information into special designated log sheets.
3. Performs routine maintenance on boiler equipment and system.
4. Control and monitor boiler operation to make sure all parameters are within safe limits.
5. Monitor boiler system to ensure it operating safely and properly; facilitates periodic boiler cleaning.
6. Conduct/carry out trouble shooting operation/activity on designated problem machines and rectify such problems.
7. Provide assistance to the maintenance crew in other support activities.
8. Accompany relevant authorities during official inspection of equipment.
9. Carry out routine chemical analysis of water and level of fuel supply.
10. Ensure that the water storage tanks are sufficient and safe for the boiler to operate.
11. Familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
12. Work as a team with the Shift Manager and FHS staff to ensure fiber feeding to the boiler is correct and enough for the boiler.
13. Work with strict compliance to company rules and regulation.
14. Maintain strict safety and housekeeping practice at all times.
15. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures [SOP] for all equipments based on manufacturers’ recommended operating procedures covering all main and auxiliary plant and equipment.
16. Monitor the operations of the power plant equipments during the shift in safely manner.
17. Experience working in a palm oil mill and power plant will be an added advantage.
18. Ensure compliance to Health & Safety procedures as require by FMA/DOSH/EC.

Work

1. Establish safe and efficient operation of the power plant during the shift by carrying out patrol to all the equipment and log all the data required.
2. Maintain good discipline during the shift hours or working hours.
3. Compliances to legislation & regulatory requirement.
4. Basic trouble shooting.
5. Provide ideas for continuous improvement in operation practices.
6. Ensure all power plant and auxiliary equipment in operating condition.
7. Willing to work on shift.
8. Willing to work in Teluk Intan.
