Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases (SEA) Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is a subsidiary of Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Group) and incorporated in Malaysia. We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer (Industrial Gas Segment) to join our growing Nikkiso CE&IG Malaysia team.

Job Overview

The individual entrusted with holding this position will be responsible for the SEA sales, marketing strategy, and execution for the Industrial Gas Industry segment under Nikkiso Cryogenic Pump Functional Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local BLM and/or related managers to cover the Industrial Gas Market in SEA.
  • Customer development including travel to customer locations and project sites.
  • Responsible for year-on-year bookings growth for Prime equipment aligned with the overall company strategy.
  • Assist manager in developing a business plan and sales strategy for key accounts that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for presenting new product developments and business strategies to customer base within assigned market.
  • Increase sales for equipment and systems to existing and new customers.
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cryogenic pumps and related equipment and services for LNG, H2, and Industrial Gases applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Knowledge of thermal and fluid engineering concepts, equipment knowledge, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, results-driven, organizational skills, group work efficiency, technical aptitude of systems, and software (AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years in a similar position or engineering position.
  • Good customer service (sales) skills as well as being a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Skilled in time management, prioritizing, and managing changing priorities.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
