As an Indirect Tax Lead - Brazil, you will support the specific language requirements, managing the Brazilian calculation, filing, payment, and reconciliation of Indirect Taxes at the Global Tax Center.

As an Indirect Tax Lead - Brazil, you will be responsible for:

1. Handling and overseeing all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes to ensure compliance, integrity, and transparency.
2. Forecasting payments and monetization, tax provisions based on aging policy, and settlements.
3. Reviewing and approving tax calculations, account reconciliations in Blackline, tax payments, tax compensations, tax return submissions, and other related tasks.
4. Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes, and procedures in your field.
5. Handling clear communication with direct colleagues and business stakeholders about projects, issues, and risks.
6. Coordinating tax audit requirements along with the Regional Tax Team.
7. Leading and coordinating projects for improvement in the processes, as well as providing technical guidance to team members.
8. Developing and growing team members by providing guidance, training, and timely feedback.

To be successful in this role you will:

1. Have a BSc in a related subject or demonstrate good, equivalent, similar work experience (Finance/Law).
2. Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Brazilian Indirect Taxation.
3. Have knowledge of ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISSQN, INSS, IRRF, and PCC - knowledge about IOF taxes will be an added advantage.
4. Have experience working at a multinational company or Big 4 companies.
5. Have knowledge about systems, processes, and technology (SAP, Blackline, Tax One, or others).
6. Have good interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
